Privacy note

This is a plain-language summary of how the Truck Guy waitlist handles your info. Truck Guy is a pre-launch project run by Maksim Ostapyuk in North Highlands, CA. It isn't a live service yet.
What we collect
- What you type into a sign-up form: name, phone and/or email, ZIP code, and your answers (job types, truck details, availability, price expectations, and so on).
- A referral code, if you came from someone's share link, and a personal share code we create for you.
- Basic technical info our website host (Netlify) records when a form is submitted, such as IP address and time. They use it to run the site and filter spam.
We don't use ad trackers, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels on this site. Your browser stores your share code and any referral code locally so the thank-you page can show your link.
How we use it
- To contact you about Truck Guy: launch news, when we open in your area, and a few quick questions to help us build it.
- To understand demand, like which areas and job types people want.
That's it. We only use your info for Truck Guy.
What we don't do
- We never sell your info.
- We don't share it with advertisers or other companies for their marketing.
- We don't publish your name or contact info.
Your info is stored with the tools we use to run the list (currently Netlify, which hosts this site and receives the forms, and possibly a private spreadsheet). They store it for us and don't use it for their own marketing.
Texts and emails
If you checked the consent box, we may text or email you about Truck Guy. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text or just tell us, and we'll stop.
Removing your info
Email therealmagnificentmaksim@gmail.com and ask. We'll delete your sign-up and confirm by reply. If Truck Guy doesn't launch, we'll delete the list.
Changes
When Truck Guy actually launches, there will be a fuller privacy policy and terms. We'll let the list know before anything changes about how your sign-up info is used.
